Privacy notice
What we collect when you use this website or contact us, and what we do with it.
Last updated 7 November 2026.
Who we are
This website, askatium.com, is run by Atium Technologies, based in the United Kingdom. We decide how the details you give us are used. If you have any question about your data, email [email protected].
What we collect
- When you send an enquiry through our form: your name, work email address and company, which we need to reply to you, and your role and anything you write in the message box if you choose to give them. We also pass your IP address to HubSpot, which uses it to estimate your location.
- When you email us: your email address and whatever you include in your message.
- When you visit the site: we use no cookies for tracking or advertising. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits and pages viewed without cookies and without identifying you. Our host, Cloudflare, processes your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks.
- When you use our form: Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the enquiry comes from a person, not a bot. It may store information on your device for that purpose only. See Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy addendum.
How we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry and to talk with you about whether Atium suits your business. We don't sell your data, and we won't add you to a mailing list without asking.
Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to and following up business enquiries.
Who else handles it
- HubSpot stores enquiries in our customer records, in the European Union (Germany).
- Lark provides our email, and holds it in Japan.
- Cloudflare hosts this website, provides its visitor counts and runs the form's bot check. It is based in the United States.
UK law recognises the European Union and Japan as protecting personal data adequately. Cloudflare, and HubSpot's US parent company, are certified under the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (the UK–US data bridge), which UK law recognises for transfers to the United States.
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry details while we're in contact with you, and delete them 3 years after our last contact.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it. Email [email protected].
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, tell us at [email protected]. We'll acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, look into it, and tell you the outcome.
You can also complain to the UK regulator, the Information Commission (formerly the Information Commissioner's Office), at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change this notice, we'll update this page and its date.
